Chair of BFA Program in Animation

Students of LCAD’s BFA program in Animation are not only great storytellers, animators, and designers, but they are top tier animation artists with creativity and vision. LCAD Animation students pass through a rigorous four-year program with a grounding in classical drawing and animation techniques. By offering a diverse range of coursework that includes storyboarding, character design, layout, modeling, 2D animation, CG animation, background painting, visual development, and more, we produce outstanding animation filmmakers who excel in multiple specializations and are as knowledgeable as they are adaptable. It’s hard to find graduates with expertise in hand-drawn classical techniques, able to get superior results from modern digital toolsets, with an unparalleled ability to communicate effectively through quick-sketching within their creative teams. I am proud to present to you LCAD’s 2023 Animation graduates. They are ready to become valuable team-members in your workforce and eager to contribute to your organizations! Enjoy their outstanding work in the stunning presentations they have prepared.
